PRAY

Prayer is a vital part of church life and in our services and groups. We encourage daily prayer and prayer triplets to meet and support and pray for those around us. Before Sunday worship The Junction Coffee Lounge is open for prayer from 9.45am.

GIVING

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work”.
(2 Corinthians 9:7)

To give to Hedon Methodist church, either on a regular basis or a one off donation or bequest, please contact us through our web page. We can accept payment by Standing Order, Direct Debit, BACS, cheque or cash. We also operate a weekly envelope system to enable you to give when you are unable to be at worship – just put your offering in the envelope each week and bring them all when you next come to church or pass to someone to bring on your behalf.

ACTIVE ROLES WITHIN THE CHURCH

There is always a job to be done, from leadership, catering, organising activities, pastoral visiting, musicians, helping at Messy Church or being a greeter on a Sunday and lots more. We would love you to join us so just speak to one of the leadership team to discuss what opportunities for volunteering are available. We provide placement for youth work for students doing their Duke of Edinburgh awards – DBS clearance will be required for voluntary roles working with children and teenagers.
