19th November 2019 Holly Harrison

We are delighted to announce that The Junction community project at Hedon Methodist Church has been awarded a grant of £6000 over 3 years by The Matthew Good Foundation to support and develop its community outreach.

The funding will help to provide a programme of activities fr all those attending The Junction every Thursday, training for volunteers in Dementia Awareness, support the costs of sessional workers and a help towards a plan to appoint an administrator.

The cheque was presented by Michelle Taft, the Head of The Matthew Good Foundation and Kevin Harrison, Trustee, and presented to Geoff Langley who heads up our team of volunteers. A big thank you to all those who continue to give their time to support the community in Hedon through The Junction and at Hedon Methodist Church.
